On the red box

On the Red Box is an evangelistic initiative that originated in Spain. They train and equip themselves for street evangelism. What they use is a red box that they step on and then they have a short, short sermon.
Although ONTHEREDBOX began as an outdoor evangelistic initiative, its effectiveness lies in the power of God’s Word and not in communication skills or creative methods.
God uses the message of the cross with or without a red box!

How it all began
In 2002, Jacob Bock and a friend began handing out tracts in one of Madrid’s main squares, Puerta del Sol. Soon, people from different churches found out about the initiative and decided to participate.
One day, the box containing the tracts became a temporary platform. Jacob stood on the box and preached to the people, using objects and stories from everyday life to illustrate the gospel.
