Café bike – Cargo Bike

A converted 3-wheeled bicycle serves as a base for coffee in town. It is organized in Västerås, Sweden by SOS Church Västerås. (Photo from Västerås).

How they made it in Västerås:

1. Buy a regular Cargo Bike and convert it so that you can serve coffee.
2. It might be a good idea to install a small roof on it. Then you can be outside pretty much all year round.
3. Gather a team so that it is possible to be out two by two.
4. Load the Café Bike with literature, magazines, coffee and accessories.
5. Go around town where there are people out.

A Cargo Bike has also been used successfully in evangelistic efforts in Malmö, Sweden. It arouses interest and is also easy to move if people are elsewhere in the city.
