Summer is ice cream time. Feel free to try out some different variations on the ice cream theme.
a) Challenge the youth group/other group in the church to invite a friend for ice cream sometime during the summer and then link the follow-up to a big ice cream party to start the fall semester.
b) Have an ice cream party in the church and everyone can invite at least one person.
c) Have an ice cream cart and offer free ice cream in the city park on a really hot day.
At all times, it is important to have relevant information material available; business cards, invitations, free books when there is dialogue and conversation.
