In December, we can do something really special for the hospital staff at our hospitals. They are often in a tough working situation. During the weekends that are family holidays, many will be at work.
Here you can see the video story from Home Church Västerås (formerly New Life Västerås) which focused on giving chocolate bars to staff at Västmanland Hospital during the Corona outbreak:
“In addition to praying for all those working in healthcare, we wanted to encourage the staff in a special way. We did this by making out own wrapper for a big chocolate cake. We distributed the chocolate cakes at Västmanland hospital.”
Thank you all the staff for everything you do. You are valuable, important and loved. Real heroes. We pray for you.
The cover was printed on a regular printer and A4 paper. It was a cover for 200 gram chocolate bars. Matching sticky notes attached the papers and there was even a little greeting.
This is something that can be done at different times during the year and is perhaps especially appreciated on big weekends like Christmas.
