Dressing up to share the news about Jesus is fun! There’s really no time of year like Christmas when you can dress up as just about anything and get away with it. Here are some ideas:
1. A live scene from Bethlehem complete with donkey brings the story close to people. Almost 20 years ago, Chris Duffet made his first scene in Chester, complete with Mary riding a donkey.
2. Get a group of friends to dress up as kings and then frantically search for a star around the city center. It creates an interesting atmosphere as they walk around asking people for the star.
3. A few years ago, a team was in Peterborough and we wanted to give away some gifts. To get some interest, one of the team dressed up as a star. It really got people’s attention. (Ideas from Chris Duffet)
