You can help make Christmas memorable for a woman somewhere in Sweden during December 2025.
Since Christmas 2009, Sisters International has distributed Christmas bags every year to women living in homelessness, addiction & prostitution. Over 43,000 Christmas bags have since been distributed in Swedish cities, several women’s prisons around Sweden, and to vulnerable women in Copenhagen. The cities where the Christmas bags have been distributed include Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Skellefteå, Kristianstad, Umeå, Ystad, Landskrona, Örebro, Helsingborg, Ängelholm, Västerås, Örnsköldsvik, and many more. Thanks to all the donations from members, private individuals and through sponsorships from companies and organizations in the form of gifts and products, this project is possible!
Over 3,800 Sisters Christmas Bags were distributed at Christmas 2024 and are being sent for packing and distribution to around 40 locations around Sweden. Approximately 200 people are involved around Sweden as volunteers to pack and distribute the Christmas Bags.

Each Christmas bag is estimated to have a net cost of approximately SEK 200. The value is usually around SEK 1500-2000 in each Christmas bag.
